Group G- Personnel responsible for preparation and processing of infectious substance consignments
   
These Regulations have undergone major changes in 2007, which have affected the industry dramatically.  We address all the requirements and how to effect the transportation of these products, safely.

At the end of the course, the candidate will be able to: -


•    Understand their legal responsibility and liability
•    Locate information from all relevant sections of the DGR
•    Understand state and operator variations
•    Select the correct Proper Shipping Name 
•    Understand information on the completion of the Shipper’s Declaration for Dangerous Goods 
•    Select the correct packing materials and the correct use of the packing instructions
•    Marking and labelling of packages
•    Acceptance check lists 

At the end of the course, the delegates will undertake an examination and on successful completion will be issued with a certificate which is accredited by the SACAA which is valid for a period of two years.  The pass mark required is 80%.
