Training
DGM offers comprehensive training courses for shippers, freight forwarders & applicable categories of airline operator’s personnel.
DGM prides itself on world class standards of training, instruction and materials. Our training programs are designed to meet both the regulatory and industry standards. The courses are offered in on an In-house, On-site basis as well as public schedule training classes.
Who needs training?
ICAO, IATA, the South African Civil Aviation Authority, and the South African Maritime Safety Authority, requires both initial and recurrent training for any and all hazmat employees.
It is the responsibility of the hazmat employer to ensure that each hazmat employee is trained.
A Hazmat Employer is a person who uses one or more of its employees in connection with:
- Any logistical link in the Transporting of dangerous goods
- Example, Freight Forwarding & Clearing, Ground Handling, Couriers, Cargo Receiving, Warehouse & Storage Personnel, Loading, Packing Marking Labelling, Shipper, Manufacturer, Agent, Flight & Cabin Crew.
